اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ




مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتَ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ








Allah humma anta rabbi la ilaaha illa anta khalaqtani wa


aana abduka wa aana alaa ahdika wawa`dika mastata`tu


aaoo`zubika min sharri ma sana`tu aaboo oolaka


binaymatika aa layya wa aaboo oo bi zambi faghfirli zunubi


fa innahu la yaghfiruzzunuba illa anta

He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah



O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself and


no one forgives sins but You.


So, grant me forgiveness and have mercy on me.


Surely, you are Forgiving, Merciful






اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْماً كَثِيراً، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي


إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ






Allaahumma 'innee dhalamtu nafsee dhulman katheeran,


wa laa yaghfiruth-thunooba 'illaa 'Anta,


faghfir lee maghfiratan min 'indika warhamnee '


innaka 'Antal-Ghafoorur-Raheem.

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Teach me an invocation with which I may invoke (Allah) in my prayer." The Prophet said, "Say: Allahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran wala yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta, Faghfirli maghfiratan min indika war-hamni, innaka antalGhafur-Rahim."






I seek forgiveness from Allah who alone is worthy of worship,


He is immortal,He has created (the heavens and the earth)


and i repent in front of him






Astaghfirulla hallazi la ilaaha illa huwal




hayyul qayyumu wa atoobu ilayi






Abu Dawood narrated by HAZRAT ZAID (R.A)


Prophet MOHAMMAD (Peace be upon him) said ''Whoever seeks forgiveness with these words ,he will be forgiven even if he had fled from the battlefield '' Tirmidhi narrated by Hazrat Zaid (R.A)


Prophet MOHAMMAD (Peace be upon him) said ''Whoever seeks forgiveness with these words , his sins are erased even if they are equal to the foam of the sea." ( Tirmidhi narrated by Ibn e Haban )
O my Lord ! forgive me and accept my repentance ,


indeed You are oft-returning with compassion and You are merciful




Rabbigh firli watub alayya innaka antat tawwabur raheem

A companion of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) said that we used to recite these words hundred times in an assembly ( Ibn e Haban ,narrated by Ibn e Umer (R.A)
Astaghfirullaha rabbi min kulli zambiyon wa atoobu ilayih




REFERENCE


Once The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said to Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu): "Do five things before going to bed at night,one of them was to make peace between two fighting people .


When Hazrat Ali (R.A) said that "O Prophet of Allah, this is very difficult for me."


The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) then said,


Recite Astaghfirullah Rabbi min Qulli Zambyu Wa Aatubu Ilaih ten times, and you will gain the reward of making peace between two fighting people







O Allah, forgive me what I have sent before me


and what I have left behind me,


what I have concealed and what I have done openly,


what I have done in excess, and what You are


better aware of than I. You are the One Who sends forth


and You are the One Who delays.


There is none worthy of worship but You.




اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ، وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ، وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَفْتُ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي.




أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ، وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا إِلَعَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ




Allaahum-maghfir lee maa qaddamtu, wa maa 'akhkhartu,


wa maa 'asrartu, wa maa 'a'lantu, wa maa 'asraftu,


wa maa 'Anta 'a'lamu bihi minnee. 'Antal-Muqaddimu,


wa 'Antal-Mu'akhkhiru laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta.

O Allah, separate me from my sins as You have


separated the East from the West.


O Allah, cleanse me of my transgressions


as the white garment is cleansed of stains.


O Allah, wash away my sins with ice and water and frost.






اللَّهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ، كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَ بْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ بِالثَّلْجِ وّالْمَاءِ وَالْبَرَدِ


Allaahumma baa'id baynee wa bayna khataayaaya kamaa baa'adta baynal-mashriqi


walmaghribi, Allaahumma naqqinee min khataayaaya kamaa yunaqqath-thawbul-'


abyadhu minad-danasi, Allaahum-maghsilnee min khataayaaya,


bith-thalji walmaa'i walbarad.

O Allah, I ask You. O Allah, You are the One, the Only,


Self-Sufficient Master, Who was not begotten and


begets not and none is equal to Him.


Forgive me my sins, surely you are Forgiving, Merciful.






اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا اللهُ بِأَنَّكَ الْوَاحِدُ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ، أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ




Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka yaaAllaahu bi'annakal-Waahidul-'Ahadus-Samadul-lathee, lam


yalid wa lam yoolad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan 'Ahad, 'an taghfira lee thunoobee 'innaka '


Antal-Ghafoorur-Raheem.

Allaahumma innee astaghfiruka min kulli zambiyon wa atoobu ilayk


O Allah ! I seek Your forgiveness for all the sins and I repent.




O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection


in this world and the next.


O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection


in my religion, in my worldly affairs, in my family and in my wealth.


O Allah, conceal my secrets and preserve me from anguish.


O Allah, guard me from what is in front of me and behind me,


from my left, and from my right, and from above me.


I seek refuge in Your Greatness from being struck down from beneath me.






اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ


وَأَهْللِي، وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ


يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي




Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fid-dunyaa wal'aakhirati,


Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fee deenee


wa dunyaaya wa 'ahlee, wa maalee,


Allaahum-mastur 'awraatee, wa 'aamin raw'aatee,


Allaahum-mahfadhnee min bayni yadayya, wa min khalfee, wa 'an yameenee,


wa 'an shimaalee, wa min fawqee, wa 'a'oothu bi'adhamatika 'an 'ughtaala min tahtee.


Sahih Ibn Majah 2/332 and Abu Dawud.





I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him.




(Recite one hundred times in Arabic during the day).




أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ






Astaghfirullaaha wa 'atoobu 'ilayhi.

I seek the forgiveness of Allah (three times).


O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace.


Blessed are You, O Owner of majesty and honor.






أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ ثَلَاثاً اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ


Astaghfirullaaha Allaahumma 'Antas-Salaamu wa minkas-salaamu, tabaarakta yaa


Thal-Jalaali wal-'Ikraam.
